Creative Wedding Confetti Options
I think it’s the case that everyone would like awesome wedding photos! One of the most anticipated shots at any wedding is the confetti throwing photograph… It’s one of my favourite moments of a wedding day. It’s full of colour, everyone's smiling, and the happy couple have relaxed after the formal part of the day is done. And photo opportunity aside, throwing wedding confetti is a tradition that dates back to the Romans. They threw rice over newlyweds believing that it would bestow fertility upon the happy couple, making their marriage a ‘fruitful’ one. The English use of the word ‘confetti’ derives from the Italian ‘confetti’ which are sugar coated almonds that are given out at weddings (with a white coating) or at graduations (with a red coating) - these were traditionally thrown into the air at carnivals.
